- Accidental Death: SBI General Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy will pay 100% of the Policy Sum Insured for any injury caused due to an accident that immediately or eventually results in the death of an Insured Employee. However, death due to an accidental injury should occur within 365 days from the date of the Accident which caused the Injury.
- Permanent Total Disablement (PTD): If an accident leads to Permanent Total Disablement (PTD), the SBI General GPA Insurance Policy will pay a percentage of the sum insured as a benefit, as given in the Benefit Table listed below:

SBI General Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy will pay for Permanent Total Disablement provided such disability has continued for a period of 12 consecutive months and is total, continuous and Permanent at the end of the 12-month period. 3. Permanent Partial Disablement (PPD): SBI General Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy will pay a percentage of the sum insured as a benefit if an accident leads to Permanent Partial Disablement (PTD), as given in the Benefit Table listed below:

- Temporary Total Disablement (TTD): In case of an accident resulting in Temporary Total Disablement of the Insured Employee, the SBI GPA Insurance Policy will pay a weekly benefit amount during the period of continuous Temporary Total Disability resulting from Injury during the Policy Period. To be eligible for a Claim under the Temporary Total Disablement section of the SBI GPA Insurance, the disablement must commence within 30 days of the date of the accident. The maximum period for which the Weekly Benefit Amount is payable under the SBI General Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy is 104 Weeks.

- Accidental Death or Disablement caused while operating or learning to operate any Aircraft
- Accidental Death or Disablement caused due to participation in War, Civil War, Invasion, Revolution, Act of Foreign Enemy etc.
- Accidents due to participation in Adventure and Dangerous Sports such as skydiving/parachuting, hand gliding, bungee jumping, scuba diving.
How to Cancel SBI General Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy?
The Insured can always cancel SBI General GPA Insurance Policy by sending 15 days written notice to the Insurance Company. If no claim has been made under the Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy, the premium will be refunded depending on the time the policy has been in effect. If the GPA Insurance Policy is cancelled within a period of 1 month, the Insured can avail a refund of 75% of the premium paid. For cancellations exceeding a period of 6 months, no refunds will be made.
